
Our History
The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been constituted in the year 1924 by the prominent businessmen of Kashmir and its memorandum and articles of association has been sanctioned by his Highness Government in the year 1935. The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Inc) is one of the oldest apex trade body in the country committed. The KCCI was incorporated in the year 1937 as a non-profit organization. The KCCI as such, have a glorious background of 92 years since the day of its constitution. The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry has taken many strides in realizing its objectives.
The major objective of KCCI is to promote business, trade and economic relations. KCCI promotes bilateral trade, investment and technology transfer, facilitates business collaborations, joint ventures, marketing tie-ups and strategic alliances through a set of proactive business- oriented initiatives. The Chamber continuously interacts with the Government of India, and provides them feedback on bilateral issues relating to trade and investment.
